Standards for Aerospace

Aerospace testing is specification-driven, and in most cases, the customer specifies the required test method. When an applicable standard is available, testing is performed in accordance with that standard and referenced in the test report. We follow the specific designation required by your program and document it accordingly. MatX Lab is not a standards body, does not issue certifications, and all of our aerospace testing is conducted on a commercial basis.

Can you test to my customer's aerospace specification?

Yes. Simply provide the specification or test method when requesting a quote, whether it is an ASTM, ISO, or customer-specific designation. We will align the testing with that requirement and reference it in your report. If a specification refers to a test method that we can perform, we will scope the work accordingly.

Can you find why a part failed in service?

Yes. Failure analysis is one of our core strengths. We move from non-destructive documentation through fractography, microstructure, and compositional analysis to a root-cause conclusion. Do not clean or handle the fracture surface before sending it; the evidence is often on it.
