Electrical testing measures resistivity, dielectric behavior, insulation resistance, and breakdown across conductors, insulators, and semiconductors. What Is Electrical Testing?

In this, it is measured how a material responds to voltage and current. Also, resistivity and conductivity describe how easily charge moves, dielectric properties describe how an insulator stores and dissipates energy, and breakdown testing finds the voltage at which an insulator fails. Measures volume and surface resistivity of materials from conductors to insulators, characterizing how readily charge moves through the bulk and along the surface.

Sheet Resistance (Four-Point Probe)

Measures the sheet resistance of thin films and the resistivity of wafers, a core semiconductor and thin-film measurement.

Dielectric Properties

Measures dielectric constant and dissipation factor across frequency, the properties that govern capacitance and insulation performance.

Dielectric Strength and Breakdown

Determines the voltage at which an insulator breaks down, per thickness, for insulation qualification.

Insulation Resistance

Measures resistance across an insulating material or coating under applied voltage, a routine check of insulating quality.

Volume and Surface Resistivity of Plastics

It ranks polymers and coatings from static-dissipative to fully insulating, important for electronics and ESD control.

Contact and Continuity Resistance

Here we measure contact and interconnect resistance in assemblies, relevant to joints, connectors, and platings.

Can you measure the resistivity of a film or wafer?

Yes. Four-point probe methods measure sheet resistance of thin films and the resistivity of wafers, and bulk methods handle conductors and insulators. We report values against your specification.

Can you measure dielectric strength?

Yes. Dielectric breakdown testing determines the voltage at which an insulator fails, per thickness, and dielectric-constant testing characterizes insulation behavior across frequency.

Do you certify electrical safety?

No. We measure electrical properties and report results against the referenced method. We are not a certification body and do not issue safety listings.
